Step by Step Application

Registration and Account Creation: Begin your journey by registering and creating an account on SUM’s platform.

  • Application Submission: Follow the provided instructions to seamlessly submit your application through the platform.
  • Document Attachment: Ensure a comprehensive application by attaching scans of the original or notary copies of required documents.

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  1. Hand-signed Application Form (generated on the candidate’s account after filling up personal details in at least 80%).
  2. Original or notarized copy of the high school diploma.
  3. Passport
  4. Passport sized photograph (resolution: 300 DPI).
  5. Certificate demonstrating English language proficiency of at least B2 level or official statement from highschool or university stating that English was medium of construction during your education.
  6. Receipt of registration fee payment amounting to 85 PLN paid to SUM bank account.

  7. Apostille/legalization—mandatory if the high school/college diploma was issued by an institution in a Hague Convention Contracting country, as of October 5th, 1961, which waives the requirement of legalization of foreign government documents.

Important Instructions:

  • All documents must be issued in the English language. If the original document is in another language, a sworn translation into English is required.
  • Application Status Notification: Once submitted, stay informed about your application status through the University’s online account or your provided email address.
  • Document Verification: Upon verification by the University Admission Committee, you will receive notifications outlining further procedures.
  • Qualification Procedure: After completing the qualification procedure, your candidate’s number will be included in the ranking list.

 

Important Notes:

  • Candidates may be required to attend an entrance examination as specified in § 7 of Conditions and recruitment procedure for studies pursued in English at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice in the academic year 2024/2025  Resolution No. 43.2023..   • The ranking list will be published on the website once the qualification procedure is completed for all candidates.
  • Before the start of the academic year 2024/2025 (before October 1, 2024), candidates are required to send/post the printed and signed application form along with original or notarized copies of all required documents to the University’s mailing address:
