🔻 We’ve just wrapped up a fantastic event – Multicultural Day – the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.

🔺 On this day, we celebrate not only the richness of world cultures but also the crucial role of intercultural dialogue in achieving peace and sustainable development.

🔻 Just like last year, English-language program students from the Faculties of Medical Sciences of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice and Zabrze prepared plenty of surprises.

🔺 During the event, which was held mainly in Prof. Zahorski Lecture Hall (A3) in Katowice-Ligota, students representing countries from all over the world showcased the cuisine, dance, history, and culture of their homelands.

🔻 The gathered students and faculty members had the chance to learn about countries such as South Africa, Ireland, Nigeria, Spain, Pakistan, and India

🔺 But first, our international students had an opportunity to discover Polish history and culture. It was introduced by a historical reenactment group that includes our lecturer, Prof. Grzegorz Brożek. The presentation was engaging, energetic, and full of empathy.
