On  July 3, 2026, the Graduation Ceremony for the graduates of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice at the Medical University of Silesia took place in the Professor Witold Zahorski Auditorium in Katowice-Ligota. The ceremony honored students who completed the English-language Medicine Program in June 2026.

This ceremony is held at the Medical University of Silesia twice during each academic year. On this occasion, diplomas were awarded to 32 international graduates who successfully completed the Medicine program.

The ceremony was attended by Professor Edward Wylęgała, MD, PhD, Vice-Rector for Development and Technology Transfer at the Medical University of Silesia; Professor Tomasz Francuz, MD, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice; and Professor Grzegorz Helbig, MD, PhD, Vice-Dean of the Faculty.

On this special occasion, the graduates were accompanied not only by members of the University community but also by their families and friends, many of whom had traveled from different countries around the world to celebrate this important milestone together.
