This night definitely belonged to us! SUM students, doctoral students and employees had fun at the biggest university party – SUM Medykalia SUM 2024. The big celebration took place in Zabrze, Rokitnica. Participants of the party were traditionally welcomed by representatives of the rector’s and dean’s authorities, the University Council and the SUM Student Government.
The event was officially opened by:

– Urszula Sioma-Markowska, MD, PhD, Prof. SUM, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Faculty of Health Sciences
– Grzegorz Dziubanek, MD, PhD, Prof. SUM, Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Public Health in Bytom
– Robert Wojtyczka, MD, prof. SUM, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Sosnowiec
– Prof. Tomasz Francuz, MD, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice
– Małgorzata Ziółkowska – Director of the Silesian Branch of the Inter Polska S.A. Insurance Company.

The event was also attended by Agnieszka Kawula-Krzywdzińska, Deputy Head of the Department of Health Protection and Social Policy at the Zabrze City Hall.
