On February 23, 2024, prof. W. Zahorski Lecture Hall in Katowice-Ligota our University hosted the graduation ceremony organized for medical graduates of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice, Medical University of Silesia in Katowice who completed their medical studies in English language in February this year.

This ceremonial event is organized at the University twice an academic year. This time 18 foreign medical graduates were honored to obtain their MD diplomas.

The ceremony was attended by the Dean’s authorities:

Professor Tomasz Francuz – Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice, and Professor Grzegorz Helbig – Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice.

Two academic teachers, Doctor Robert Pieczyrak, MD and Doctor Dorota Łyko-Morawska, MD were invited to address a final lecture to graduates.

The graduation ceremony was the opportunity to solemnize this significant moment not only for the academic society and our graduates but also for their friends and families who arrived from all over the world to celebrate the success of their loved ones.
